Lame spam of the day: Warning PayPal Account Placed on hold

Fake PayPal notices are common as dirt, but this one stands out for its lameness.  It does have some design elements (small PayPal logo, blue font, borders) — it’s the text that’s lame — empty merge fields, typos, random capitalization.  There’s even a typo in the fake From address (PayPal with two L’s).  I don’t see any reports on what happens if you click the links, and have no plans to find out.

I got two copies with slight variations:

PayPal Security [information@paypall.com]

PayPal Security Services [status@paypall.com]

Subjects:

***Urgent***  Information PayPal Account  Modified

***Urgent***  Warning PayPal Account  Placed on hold
