I got 4 versions of this today. It’s not totally lame — it uses Intuit’s logo at the top. But the language is awkward enough that I hope anyone would think twice before clicking.
All 4 versions had the same sender: Intuit Payroll Services (firstname.lastname@example.org)
The subjects were:
Important QuickBooks Update
QuickBooks Security Update
Urgent: QuickBooks Update
QuickBooks Update: Urgent
The text was the same on all 4:
You will not be able to access your Intuit QuickBooks without updated Intuit Security Tool (IST™) after 31th of August, 2012.
