In June I mentioned that Convio had announced the beta release of a donor database it was calling Aikido, built on the SalesForce platform. This is not a new template for SalesForce, but a product built from the ground up. At the time, they said it would be a separate product from their online Constituent Relationship Management suite, so you would not have to be a Convio CRM client to use the database. I assume that’s still the case.
The database is now called Common Ground, and is moving out of beta. The release event will take place on Wednesday, September 17 from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm ET at the National Press Club Murrow Room in Washington, DC. It will also be webcast.
