Lame spam of the day: Facebook notifications

June 4, 2012 by Robert Leave a Comment

Similar to the notifications from MySpace, Habbo, Tagged, and Foursquare I got a few weeks ago, I’m getting lots of fake Facebook notifications.  According to this article, they’re phishing messages.  Here are a few examples:

Sender: Facebook (confirm+robert@ig.com.br)
Subject: Reminder: Reset your password
Text:
You recently requested a new password for your Facebook account. It looks like we sent you an email with a link to reset your password a few days ago. (link leads to http://tezgor.com/up/load/)
This is a reminder that you need to complete this action by clicking this link and Confirm or Cancel your request.

If you have any other questions, please visit our Help Center.

Thanks,
The Facebook Team

Sender: Facebook (password_change+robert@brandlehner.at)
